As a Chef the concept of Rim Country Spices evolved from my own frustration with the poor quality and taste of off the shelf spice blends (products containing MSG, preservatives, artificial ingredients and/or fillers) I was using to prepare food at home. So I started creating my own spice blends to have on hand for a quick, easy, and a healthy alternative.

I personally research, create and test each of the spice blends we offer, my personal commitment to quality.
Tonya Ivey Poshka Owner/Executive Chef Bio:
Studied nutrition, biochemistry, chemistry of nutrition, biology, human anatomy and physiology and micro biology at NAU. Graduated Scottsdale Culinary Institute with a degree in Le Cordon Bleu Culinary Arts. Worked as a chef in the restaurant industry for over six years including Vero Beach, Florida, Bryce Canyon National Park, Utah, and Rawhide Western Town and Steak House in Chandler Arizona.
